About the show
Garage grease, old magic, monster trouble.
The Blood & Moone Files is an original Appalachian supernatural comedy-horror audio drama about Chandler Blood, John Moone, and the hidden world waking up under Lenor County, Tennessee.
About The Blood & Moone Files
The Blood & Moone Files started with a simple idea: what if a supernatural horror story sounded less like polished monster hunters in leather coats and more like two East Tennessee guys trying to survive the worst week of their lives?
The show is set in Lenor County, Tennessee, a fictional place built from the texture of backroads, garages, diners, trailer parks, old woods, local gossip, and the kind of stubborn humor people use when life keeps swinging. It is a supernatural world, but it is grounded in ordinary places.
At the center are Chandler Blood and John Moone. Chandler is funny, anxious, loyal, and far more important than he realizes. John is capable, haunted, and carrying more secrets than he wants to explain. Their friendship is the backbone of the series.
The show balances horror and humor because that is how the characters survive. The jokes do not erase the danger. The danger does not erase the jokes. Sometimes the scariest thing in the world is standing in front of you, and somebody still says the dumbest possible thing because silence would be worse.
Creator's Note
I created The Blood & Moone Files because I wanted to tell a supernatural story that felt like it came from somewhere real.
Not a polished city full of stylish monster hunters. Not a cold procedural. I wanted garages, diners, trailer parks, old roads, bad jokes, weird neighbors, and woods that feel like they know more than they should.
Chandler Blood and John Moone became the center of that. Their friendship is the backbone of the show. Everything else - demons, vampires, werewolves, old magic, EIBEN Corp, Dog-Boy Dan's signal - grows around that connection.
The show is funny because the characters are funny. It is scary because the danger is real. And it is Appalachian because the setting is not decoration. Lenor County is part of the story.
Start with Episode 1: “Loner.” The box shows up early. The bad decision follows shortly after.
